Intro to Tech is for divers who want to investigate technical diving without making a major committment. You will be introduced to the equipment, techniques, planning and skills involved in decompression diving and overhead inveronmnets. Intro to Tech course is also a useful course for any diver who wants to become a more skilled & proficient diver. Learn how to improve your dive planning, in-water skills and streamline your existing gear configuration, in a non-threatening and fun learning environment. The specific skills this course will highlight are:
- Advanced Buoyancy Control
- Gas Management
- Situational Awareness
- Trim
- Gear Configuration and Selection
Program Steps
- Attend the Intro to Tech seminar.
- Do 3 training dives with tech equipment supplied by the instructor practicing the skills discussed at the seminar. All dives will be less than 130 ft deep.
- Upon successful completion you will recieve TDI Intro to Tech certification.
Prerequisites
- Minimum age: 18
- Advanced Scuba Rating
- Logged 25 dives
- Complete Medical and Release forms
