Water Scuba You are about to embark on one of the world's most exciting sports! Here is the class schedule and other information.
Class will meet on Saturday aftenoons from 3-6 PM for 6 sessions beginning March 27 and ending on may 8. (No class April 3) We will meet in street clothes in the conference room before going to the pool.
During
the first session you will have your photo taken for your certification
card, complete some forms, and have an opportunity to purchase home study
materials consisting of either the PADI manual & video, or multi-media
computer based program before heading to the pool for your first scuba
dive. Each subsequent class will begin with a review of the current
chapter and a short quiz before heading to the pool.
Bring a swimsuit, towel, and padlock for your locker. We will supply all your scuba equipment. It's very important that you attend all classes, as they must be completed in order. If you miss a session, it may be taken at one of our other locations at no additional charge or you may take a private make-up classes at $20/hour.
After completing classroom and pool sessions, you will need to do four open water dives scheduled over 2 days. These dives are scheduled at various times (check our calendar). You also have the option to get a referral to do your dives at another time and place, such as on your next tropical vacation. After you have completed your four open water dives, you will be certified as a PADI Open Water Scuba Diver.
