Each
3 hour class will begin at 6:30 in the classroom in street clothes before
going to the pool. You may purchase your home study materials consisting
of either the text & video, or the CD-ROM at the first session. If you
already have these materials, bring them to class with you. Prepare for
each subsequent class by completing the review questions for that chapter.
Bring your swim suit; we will supply all your diving equipment. It's very
important that you attend all classes, as they must be completed in order.
If you miss a session, it must be made up before the next session. You
may make it up at another location doing the same chapter at no cost or
do a private make-up class at $20/hour.
After completing classroom and pool sessions, you will do four open water dives. These dives are scheduled at various times beginning May 24. (check our calendar). If this is not convenient for you, we can give you a referral to do your dives at another time and place, such as on your next tropical vacation. After you have completed your four open water dives, you will be certified as a PADI Open Water Scuba Diver.
