Class
will meet on Monday evenings from 6:30-9:30 for 6 sessions beginning March
22 and ending on May 3. There is no class scheduled for April 5 (Easter
Monday). We will meet in the classroom room in street clothes before going
to the pool.
During the first session you will have your photo taken for your certification card, complete some forms, and have an opportunity to purchase home study materials consisting of either the PADI manual & video, or multi-media computer based program before heading to the pool for your first scuba dive. Each subsequent class will begin with a review of the current chapter and a short quiz before heading to the pool.
Bring a swimsuit, towel, and padlock for your locker. We will supply all your scuba equipment. It's very important that you attend all classes, as they must be completed in order. If you miss a session, it may be taken at one of our other locations at no additional charge or you may take a private make-up classes at $20/hour.
After completing classroom and pool sessions, you will need to do four open water dives scheduled over 2 days. These dives are scheduled at various times (check our calendar). You also have the option to get a referral to do your dives at another time and place, such as on your next tropical vacation. After you have completed your four open water dives, you will be certified as a PADI Open Water Scuba Diver..

Directions: From the Beaver Exit on Rt 60 go east on Rt 68 one mile and turn left on to Buffalo St at the light just past the cemetary. Go about a mile to the far end of the Beaver HS complex. Park at that end of the complex and enter the doors by the creek. The classroom will be to your right, the pool to you left.
